Medium Build
The air was brisk on the final night of winter in Melbourne. Fitzroy was quiet, just a small handful of diners scattered throughout the low lit restaurants lining Brunswick Street. But as I neared the beloved Evelyn Hotel, a faint hum began to build. Crammed into the bandroom was an eccentric audience, young, old, bald guys, guys with man buns, loved up couples and groups of girlfriends. They waited with bated breath to finally see US singer-songwriter Medium Build perform live.

Wallows
After a sold out 2022 tour, Wallows, made up of childhood friends Dylan Minnette, Cole Preston and Braeden Lemasters, have come back down under to celebrate their most recent album Model with their ‘Model World Tour’. The energy in the arena was electric. Support act Grentperez set the stage perfectly with his high energy performance, no doubt garnering a new wave of fans during his set.

Grentperez
Grentperez’s stage presence can be described as nothing other than palpable joy. Born Grant Perez, the Filipino-Australian has just rounded out the AUS/NZ leg of his international tour ‘Growing Up?’. After playing to sold-out crowds across the USA and UK, having just supported Rex Orange County on tour in September, AND recently collaborating with ARIA award-winning artists Lime Cordiale, Perez is an indie-pop force to be reckoned with. We caught him for his Sydney show at Liberty Hall to immerse ourselves into his nostalgic and reflective world. goes here
